Resumen
La tolerancia religiosa, la libertad de conciencia y la de religión son instituciones centrales del Derecho Constitucional y del Derecho Internacional, que tienen una extensa historia en el campo de la religión, de la teología, de la moral, del derecho y de la política. El presente trabajo intenta clarificar los conceptos a partir de un enfoque histórico de las ideas políticas y jurídicas, centrándose en su amanecer en tiempos de la Reforma protestante y hasta la Ilustración.
