Diseño para el equilibrio: bienestar y salud

Resumen
La salud y el bienestar son áreas que sin duda tienen una gran relevancia en la vida de las personas. La práctica y la investigación del diseño tienen el desafío de responder a las necesidades y desafíos que surgen a diario y aquellos que generan crisis a nivel mundial, como la pandemia del covid-19. Por lo tanto, los desafíos de salud tienen la capacidad de desestabilizar la vida de las personas y, actualmente, también al mundo entero. Este artículo, por una parte, explora las conexiones entre diseño, salud y bienestar, enfatizando reflexiones que involucran específicamente la calidad de vida de las personas. Y por otra parte, propone posicionar activamente el rol del diseño en la creación de soluciones y oportunidades que beneficien a las personas en aquellos aspectos que determinan la percepción de bienestar. En consecuencia, el diseño podría considerarse el punto de equilibrio entre ambos conceptos, apuntando a beneficiar la vida humana.
